Dr. Muhammad Aziz is completing his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship from University of Toledo. He earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University, Pakistan and completed residency training in Internal Medicine from University of Kansas, Kansas. He also served as a chief resident at University of Toledo.
Dr. Aziz has interest in evidence-based medicine and has several systematic reviews, meta-analysis and network meta-analysis published in reputable journals. On the clinical side, Dr. Aziz is interested in improving outcomes related to colonoscopy particularly adenoma detection rate and serrated lesion detection rate. Dr. Aziz has over 100 publications and presents his work at both national and international conference.
Dr. Aziz is currently a member of American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
