Dr. Krishna is an assistant professor of Medicine at the Ohio State University. Dr. Krishna earned his medical degree in 1998 from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and an MPH from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2000. Dr. Krishna completed Residency in 2004 from the University of Arkansas where he was appointed as an Assistant Professor from 2004-2008 and completed Fellowship in Gastroenterology in 2011. He completed an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2012. Dr. Krishna joined the faculty at Ohio State in 2012 as an Assistant Professor Clinical in our Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Dr. Krishna is the Director of Clinical Research the division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Krishna's research focuses on early and accurate diagnosis of advanced neoplasia in pancreatic cysts and the prevention of pancreatic cancer. He has been successful in obtaining funding for his research programs and has obtained competitive national foundation grant funding and is the Co-investigator for a NCI funded study. Dr. Krishna has received numerous awards for his scholarly activity. He is author of more than 70 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
