To better serve the global community and accommodate a rising volume of high-quality submissions, Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology will transition from quarterly to bimonthly publication, effective January 2026. The regular publication months will be January, March, May, July, September, November.
This strategic decision underscores the journal's rapid growth and influence since its launch in March 2016. The increased frequency is a direct response to the sustained support from authors and the academic community, ensuring that pivotal, practice-changing research reaches readers and practitioners with minimal delay after acceptance.
Translational Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TGH) is published by AME Publishing Company, with support from Wolters Kluwer (the journal content will be made available on Wolters Kluwer Health’s Lippincott and Ovid platforms). It is an international, open access, peer-reviewed online journal providing current and practical information on diagnosis, prevention and clinical investigations of gastrointestinal, pancreas,gallbladder and hepatic diseases. TGH has been indexed by PubMed/PubMed Central (PMC), Web of Science [Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)], Scopus and Ovid.
